My dad's well enough that we're going through with month-old plans to meet for a show tomorrow night. It's something I'd have been happy to cancel or modify, and instead it's going on as originally decided. While I'm happy and looking forward to it - chamber music is a pretty low-risk form of indoor live performance, these days - those feelings are tempered from the clenching and worries of the last few days.

The well-wishes helped considerably. Thank you.

In other news, having a late evening snack of a hard cider and a fruit-nut-dark chocolate mix has me feeling more grown up than I've felt in weeks, which itself is a pretty good vibe.
