I had the chance to see Oppenheimer today with my parents. I decided against it at the last minute because a very small-scale fandom gathering - five people, counting me - was scheduled for the same time. Last Thursday. So I didn't go to the movies. I thought about going to the Union Square greenmarket for melon, and decided against that, too, on the grounds I have enough fruit in my apartment already.

So what I did today was tidy my apartment, which has needed doing for weeks.

And what I did tonight was a round of physical therapy, which has needed doing for months. Since last May, I think. My legs and knees are largely fine, doing their jobs with only incidental complaints, and it's not something I need the way I used to when the injuries were fresh. It's that it felt good to do it, and feels good to do it, and I've missed doing it. Something about today was suitable to me picking it back up, and I'm happy I did. I got down onto the floor and remembered the exercises without fuss or trouble. They were right there, in my body, waiting for me.
